Expensive Soul, a Portuguese musical duo, was formed in Leça da Palmeira in 1999, consisting of MC Demo (António Conde) and singer, MC, and producer New Max (Tiago Novo). Their debut album, B.I., was released in 2004 and featured the breakthrough hits “Eu não sei” and “Falas disso." The duo gained mainstream prominence with their second album, Alma cara, in 2006, followed by their third studio effort, Utopia, in 2010, which included notable tracks such as “O amor é mágico” and “Dou-te nada." Expensive Soul expanded their discography with the albums Sonhador in 2014 and A arte das musas in 2019, as well as the 2012 live recording Ao vivo nos Coliseus. Their music were featured on several prominent Portuguese soundtracks.
