Pólo Norte is a Portuguese pop-rock band formed in 1992 in Belas, Sintra, by founders Miguel Gameiro, António Villas-Boas, Rodrigo Ulrich, Francisco Aragão, Tó Rodrigues, and Tiago Oliveira. The group released its debut studio album, Expedição, in 1994, which featured the hit songs "Lisboa" and "Grito". Their subsequent studio albums include Aprender a Ser Feliz (1997), Longe (1999), and Jogo da Vida (2002), which contained the song "Pura Inocência". The band also released the live album Pólo Norte ao Vivo (2000), the studio album Deixa o Mundo Girar (2005), which was reissued as a double CD in 2007, the compilation 15 Anos (2008), and the anniversary album Miguel Gameiro & Pólo Norte - 20 Anos (2015).
