Tages, a Swedish rock band formed in Gothenburg in 1963, consisted of Tommy Blom, Göran Lagerberg, Danne Larsson, Anders Töpel, and Freddie Skantze. The group initially started as a skiffle band named Alberts Skifflegrupp but quickly evolved into a beat group influenced by the Beatles. Their breakthrough came with the single "Sleep Little Girl", released in 1964, which reached number three on Kvällstoppen and topped Tio i Topp for eleven weeks. Tages achieved thirteen top-20 singles on Kvällstoppen and had two albums certified gold: Tages (1965) and 2 (1966). Between 1965 and 1967, Tages recorded five studio albums: Tages, 2, Extra Extra, Contrast, and Studio. Notable songs include "I Should Be Glad" and "In My Dreams". In mid-1968, Blom left the band, leading to a name change to Blond. The group disbanded in 1969 after releasing one album as Blond, The Lilac Years.
