Angelzoom is the solo project of German singer Claudia Uhle, best known as the lead vocalist of X-Perience. The project explores darkwave, synth-pop, ambient, and neo-classical influences. After signing with Nuclear Blast, Uhle released the debut album Angelzoom in 2004, featuring collaborations with Apocalyptica and cover versions of Linkin Park's "Crawling" and Depeche Mode's "Blasphemous Rumours." The song "Peace of Mind" was included on the soundtrack to the film Alone in the Dark. Uhle returned in 2010 with her second album, Nothing Is Infinite, which adopted a more synth-pop-oriented sound and included "The Things You Said," another Depeche Mode cover. The project's name was inspired by the X-Perience instrumental "Angel Zoom," reflecting the atmospheric style that shaped Uhle's solo work.
