Miguel Ángel Montero, born on July 9, 1922 in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, was a tango singer. His early career included performances with orchestras led by Eliseo Minotti and Miguel Brunetti. In 1938, he debuted on Radio Del Pueblo under the pseudonym Alberto Luna, and in 1940 sang "Carnaval de mi barrio" and the waltz "La ofrenda del trovero" at the Saavedra Club. He performed with Pedro Maffía, Juan Carlos Cobián, and Juan Carlos Howard. His time with Osvaldo Pugliese's orchestra yielded 16 tracks as a soloist. Montero toured across Central America and the United States and composed several tangos. He died on August 29, 1975.
