Twelve Gauge Valentine was an American metalcore, Christian metal, and Southern hardcore group from Bastrop and Monroe, Louisiana, formed in 2003. The band was founded by Jon Green, Jonathan Cooper, Josh White, Josh Gross, and Jonathan Webster. The group released the demo Demo in 2003 and the EP Exclamationaire in 2005. Webster left the group in 2006 and was replaced by Michael Watson. In October 2006, the group released the studio album Shock Value through Sound Vs. Silence and the video recording "Ball & Chain". The band performed on tours with artists including Haste the Day and From Autumn to Ashes. In 2007, the band performed on a tour with The Handshake Murders and Memphis May Fire. The group became inactive in 2008. Jake Campbell later joined the group Alesana.
