Inbal Segev is an American cellist. He began playing cello at age five and performed before the Israeli president at eight. At sixteen, she was invited by Isaac Stern to study at the Juilliard School and Yale University under Aldo Parisot, Joel Krosnick, Harvey Shapiro, and Bernard Greenhouse. In 1991, Segev debuted with the Berlin Philharmonic and Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Zubin Mehta. She performed in major concert halls across the United States and South America, participated in European and Israeli music festivals, and toured with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Notable collaborations include performances with Emanuel Ax, Jeremy Denk, and Juho Pohjonen. Segev is known for premiering works by contemporary American and Israeli composers, such as David Baker's Cello Concerto and Avner Dorman's Cello Concerto in 2012. Her recordings include Bach Cello Suites (2015).
