Brown’s Ferry Four was an American country gospel quartet formed in Cincinnati, Ohio and consisted of Alton Delmore, Rabon Delmore, Grandpa Jones, and Merle Travis, whose careers began when they were working at WLW radio station. Their first single "Will the Circle Be Unbroken / Just a Little Talk With Jesus" was released in 1946 and became an immediate hit. They followed up with notable songs such as "Rockin' on the Waves" (1946), "On the Jericho Road" (1949), and "Over in the Glory Land" (1949). The group disbanded following Rabon Delmore's death in 1952. Post-disbandment releases include the albums Sacred Songs (1958) and Sixteen Sacred Songs Volume 2 (1958).
