Jens Ernesti, known professionally as Nesti, was born in 1977 in Goch, Germany, and pursued a career as a rapper. After completing his schooling, Jens Ernesti undertook a commercial apprenticeship and later studied while simultaneously developing his musical skills. He first gained attention through performances with the group Die Firma and multiple freestyle battle victories, eventually forming the duo Die Spezialisten with DJ Use. In 1999, the duo signed with the Cologne label La Cosa Mia. Nesti’s debut solo album, Die Andere Seite, was released on 3 September 2001 and featured sixteen tracks that reflected personal moments. In 2002 he collaborated with Albino as Das Syndikat to release the album Echolot. The single "Liebe ist…", released on 14 July 2006, entered the German singles chart, peaking at number 56. A tour with Albino followed in September 2006 across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The album Vier Jahreszeiten was issued on 13 October 2006 under the production of Fader Gladiator. Nesti’s career highlights include charting singles and multiple collaborations with established artists, marking his presence in the German rap scene during the early 2000s.
