Regina Klepper

Regina Klepper, born Regina Böhm on April 5, 1957 in Baden-Baden, Germany, is a German opera and concert singer. She studied under Beate von Glasow at the Hannover University of Music, Ernst Haefliger and Erik Werba in Munich, and Iris Adami-Corradetti in Padua. Klepper's stage career began in 1982 in Munich, where she was introduced to television audiences by Anneliese Rothenberger. Throughout her career, she performed extensively across Europe, including engagements in Sweden, Poland, South Africa, Chile, and Argentina. Notable tenor partners included René Kollo, Francisco Araiza, and Jonas Kaufmann. Her repertoire spans rare operas, oratorios, and operettas, featuring roles such as Pamina in Mozart's The Magic Flute and Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto. Klepper has recorded numerous albums, including Stabat Mater; Orfeo (1995).
