Dresdner Kreuzchor is a German boys' choir based in Dresden, established by 1371 as part of the Kreuzschule. The ensemble consisted of 123 members between the ages of 9 and 19 who performed as a mixed-voice choir. Its repertoire spanned from the Baroque works of Heinrich Schütz to the premiere of Chaya Czernowin's “Pilgerfahrten”. The choir collaborated with the Dresden Philharmonic and the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden. Starting in the late 1950s, the group produced recordings for labels including Berlin Classics, Capriccio, Teldec, and Deutsche Grammophon. In December 2014, the ensemble was included in the German registry of intangible cultural heritage alongside the Thomanerchor. The choir released the studio album Das große Adventskonzert in 2020, which reached number 59 on the German charts. Martin Lehmann was appointed as the cantor in September 2022.
