Harel Moyal, born on April 12, 1981 in Gilo, Jerusalem, is an Israeli singer-songwriter and stage actor. He grew up in Ma'ale Adumim with his brother, influenced by his father's musical background as a guitarist and composer. Harel Moyal's breakthrough came when he won the second season of Kochav Nolad (A Star Is Born) in 2004, securing 862,368 votes. Following this success, he released his self-titled debut album in September 2005, which included the single "Middle of the Night in the Village" and was certified gold. His second album, Levadi, followed in 2007. Harel Moyal also participated in and won the 2004 Chanukah Song Festival with the song "Zorro." In addition to his music career, he starred in the musical play Like in a Movie, which began in February 2006.
