Grandadbob, a British electronic and trip hop duo consisting of Vanessa Robinson and Dave Johnson from Sheffield, UK, active since 2000. Their early work included releases such as Mudwiggle (1999) and Let's Sick on the Decks (2002). The group released Waltzes for Weirdoes in 2004, featuring the track "Monster", on which Robinson’s grandfather, Robert Porter, appears credited as ‘The real Grandad Bob,’ inspiring the band’s name. Following this, they released several EPs and albums, including Garden of Happiness and Hide Me, both in 2006. Their music spans electronic house, pop, and trip-hop genres. Grandadbob recorded radio sessions for Sheffield's Radio2XS in 2004 and BBC Radio 6 in 2003, which was rebroadcast in 2012.
