Cecil Campbell, better known as Terror Fabulous, is a successful Jamaican dancehall deejay who dominated the 1990s music scene. Born on December 20, 1974, in Jamaica, Campbell began his recording career after completing a course in electrical engineering. He was introduced to producer Dave Kelly and started releasing singles such as "Gwaney Gwaney" and "Dorothy" in the early 1990s. His debut album, Gwaney Gwaney, was released in 1992, produced by Patrick Roberts and Donovan Germain. Terror Fabulous's career skyrocketed in 1994 with the release of his hit duet with Nadine Sutherland on "Action," which peaked at number 43 on the US charts and was included in Vibe's list of the fifty greatest duets of all time. His album Yaga Yaga, produced by Kelly, featured other guests such as Brian & Tony Gold, Gary Minott, Daddy Screw, and Wayne Wonder. In the same year, he released the Bobby Digital-produced Terror and performed at Reggae Sunsplash. Despite releasing a further album in 1996, Terror Fabulous has not released any new music since then. However, he made guest appearances on recordings by En Vogue, Luciano, and Third World. After several years away from the spotlight, he returned in 2005 with a performance at the Portmore Awards show.
