Latcho Drom is a French jazz group originating from Toulouse, formed in 1993 by guitarist Christophe Lartilleux. Their name translates to "good road" in Romani, and they initially featured Lartilleux on guitar, Philippe Cuillerier on rhythm guitar, and Déborah Lartilleux on bass. Their early years saw the release of albums such as La Sorcière (1993), La Verdine (1999), and Live in Madrid (1997). In 2001, they released their live album Live 2001, followed by Djangophonie (2004), which blended jazz manouche with classical music and featured violinist Florin Niculescu. They released their second live album Paris Budapest Caravane in 2013 under Frémeaux et Associés.
