Karman Stavec, born on December 21, 1973, in Berlin, Germany, is a Slovenian pop singer. Born to Slovenian parents, she moved to Domžale, Slovenia, where she joined the dance duo 4 Fun. She studied German at the University of Ljubljana before embarking on her solo music career in 1998. Stavec participated four times in the Slovenian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, notably winning in 2003 with "Lep poletni dan". She represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest that year, finishing 23rd. Her debut solo album, Karmen, was released in 2003.
