Tilbury, an Icelandic rock band with folk influences, was founded in Reykjavik during the summer of 2010. The project began as a personal musical endeavor by singer Þormóður Dagsson, known for his drumming work with Skakkamange, Jeff Who?, and Hudson Wayne. As the project evolved, Dagsson formed Tilbury with experienced musicians: Kristinn Evertsson on synthesizers from Valdimar, Örn Eldjárn on guitar from Brother Grass, Guðmundur Óskar Guðmundsson on bass from Hjaltalin, and Magnús Trygvason Eliassen on drums. The band released their debut album Exorcise in May 2012, followed by Northern Comfort in January 2014. Tilbury's third album, So Overwhelming, was released in April 2023. Notable singles included "Tenderloin" (2012), "Northern Comfort" (2014), "Skylights" and "Feel This", both in 2022.
