Bosquito, a Romanian rock band formed in Brașov in 1999, was initiated by vocalist-guitarist Radu Almășan. The group's early lineup included Victor "Solo" Solomon on guitar, Victor "Vichi" Stephanovici on bass, Mișu Constantinescu on keyboards, and Darius Neagu on drums. Their debut album, Bosquito, released in 2000 by MediaPro Music, propelled them into the Romanian touring circuit. The band's second album, Sar scântei (2002), included the chart-topping love song "Două Mâini," which reached Number 1 in the Romanian Top 100. In October 2003, they released Cocktail Molotov, featuring the English-language track "Running from You." The band entered a hiatus in 2005 while relocating to the United States and disbanded shortly thereafter. Radu Almășan revived Bosquito in 2011 with a new lineup, releasing the album Babylon in September 2014.
