Jarosław Wasik, born 1 January 1971 in Prudnik, is a Polish singer-songwriter, composer, and actor associated with the literary song genre. He was educated at the University of Opole and earned a doctorate in cultural sciences from SWPS University. Wasik launched his musical career in 1990, winning the Grand Prix at the Biłgorajskie Spotkania Śpiewających Poetów i Autorów. His recording career began with the debut album Nastroje (1995). Wasik gained further recognition for the 1997 album Zielony z niebieskim, which featured the single "Po Prostu Pragnę". His discography continued with the releases Fabryka nastrojów (2004) and Nie dotykaj (2011). Wasik has appeared on numerous compilations, including 13 poetów (2003) and Christmas Time – All About Music (2009). In 2013, he was appointed director of the Muzeum Polskiej Piosenki in Opole.
