Senzabenza, an Italian pop punk band from Latina, formed in 1989. Their initial lineup included Nando Ferdinandi on vocals and guitar, Sebi Filigi on guitar, Fabio Furlan on bass, and Max Bergo on drums. The group released their first album, Peryzoma, in 1992 under McGuffin Records following the self-produced demo Suono forte e veloce (1991). Subsequent albums included How to Make Money With Punk Rock (1996), mixed by Joey Ramone, and Vol. 4 (1999). The latter marked a shift to Italian lyrics and featured keyboardist Daniele Nonne and bassist Eliano Zomparelli replacing Fabio Furlan. In 2003, they released Uppers, which included covers of "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg" by The Ramones and "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper. Senzabenza returned in 2017 with the album Pop From Hell. Their track "Insomnia" from Vol. 4 gained renewed attention in 2024 when it was rediscovered by the lostwave community.
