Signed to the Real World label, French group Speed Caravan blends electro, Arabo-Andalusian music and Algerian chaâbi. Medhi Haddab (electric oud), Pascal Teillet dit Pasco (bass) and Hermione Frank (percussion, programming) formed the project in 2005, Medhi Haddad and Hermione Frank having met in Ekova. Speed Caravan released Kalashnik Love in 2008, before the album was picked up by Real World in 2009. Benefiting from the logistics of the prestigious label, Speed Caravan began touring the world.
