Dotschy Reinhardt (born Michaela Reinhardt on November 10, 1975) is a German contemporary jazz and Brazilian jazz singer and author from Ravensburg. A member of the Reinhardt family, she began singing at age four and was accompanied by her uncle, guitarist Bobby Falta. At age 11, Reinhardt began appearing in swing shows with pianist Horst Jankowski, later performing on the television show Swing & Talk with the RIAS Jazz Orchestra at age 15. Reinhardt released her debut album, Sprinkled Eyes, in 2006, followed by Suni (2008), Pani Sindhu (2012), and Chaplin's Secret (2018). She published the books Gypsy: Die Geschichte einer großen Sinti Familie (2008) and Everybody's Gypsy (2014). In 2016, Reinhardt was appointed chairwoman of the State Council of Roma and Sinti RomnoKher in Berlin-Brandenburg. Her lyrics are primarily written in English and Romanes.
