Victor Sangiorgio, born in Italy and raised in Perth, Western Australia, is a classical pianist. He completed his initial training at Perth Modern School before studying with Stephen Dornan, Roy Shepherd, Guido Agosti, and Noretta Conci. By age 19, he had performed as a soloist with major Australian orchestras and recorded extensively on radio and television. Sangiorgio was a finalist in the 1978 ABC Instrumental and Vocal Competition and the 1988 Sydney International Piano Competition, winning a special prize for the Best Performance of an Australian composition. He toured internationally with the Australian Youth Orchestra and West Australian Symphony Orchestra. His discography included albums such as Stravinsky: Music for Piano Solo (2008), Cimarosa: Sonates Pour Clavier (volume 1) (2009) and (volume 2) (2011).
