Irena Kohont

Irena Kohont was a Slovenian singer popular during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Her career took off in 1965 when she won the prestigious Slovenska popevka competition with "Šel si mimo" (You walked away). This victory marked a significant breakthrough, launching her into the spotlight. Kohont released her album Bilo Je Nekoč in 2006.  Among her notable songs are "Mamaluk" and "Povabi Me Na Luno." Irena Kohont passed away on September 18, 2024.
