Majda Sepe, born Majda Bernard on July 2, 1937 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, was a singer. She began her music career early, studying singing at the Secondary Music School in Ljubljana and performing with Ljubljana Jazz Ensemble in Paris at age 19. Her breakthrough came in 1962 when she participated in the inaugural Slovenska popevka festival, continuing to appear annually until 1977, missing only the 1968 festival. Notable songs from this period include "Bele ladje" and "Marioneta". Sepe released several EPs including Bele ladje (1962) and Marioneta (1967), as well as albums like Vse moje besede (1978). Her collaborations with her husband, Mojmir Sepe, produced hits such as "Med iskrenimi ljudmi" and "Ribič ribič me je ujel". In 2004, she released her final album, S teboj. Majda Sepe passed away on April 11, 2006. A concert in her memory was held in Ljubljana on September 10, 2006, featuring performances by notable Slovenian singers and orchestras.
