Mia Žnidarič, born on December 9, 1962 in Slovenia, is a jazz singer. Her career began at age 27 when she met Slovenian composer and actor Nino de Gleria. She moved from Maribor to Ljubljana with him and started singing jazz in bars. Her breakthrough came when Vinci Vogue Anžlovar invited her to sing in his movie Babica gre na jug. She gained wider recognition through concerts at the popular discothèque Turist in Ljubljana. In 1992, she released her debut album It's Just Luck. She released albums such as Ne, ne, ker se ne sme (1995) and Hold My Hand (1995). Žnidarič received awards for Hold My Hand (1996) and her subsequent album I Wish I Knew How.... She met American piano player Steve Klink around 1994 or 1995, with whom she collaborated on the album Pobarvanka, released in 1997/1998. Žnidarič has continued to perform with the Steve Klink trio both in Slovenia and internationally.
