Ilona Csáková, born Ilona on October 1, 1970, in Cheb, Czech Republic, is a Czech singer. She started her musical career as a child, singing with the band Butterflies and learning to play guitar and drums. In 1985, she joined the girl group Alotrio. At the end of the 1980s, Csáková joined Laura A Její Tygři, touring internationally before leaving in 1992. She released her debut solo album, Kosmopolis, in 1993 under Sony Music, and won a Grammy Award for Newcomer of the Year. In 1998, she became the best-selling singer in the Czech Republic with the album Modrý Sen. Csáková also performed as Kleopatra in the musical of the same name and released the dance music album Kruhy Mé Touhy in 2002.
