Michaela Dippel, known professionally as Ada, was born in Cologne and is a German microhouse and pop musician. She began her career in 2002 with an appearance on Metope's track "Livedriver" and released her debut single Blindhouse / Luckycharm shortly after. In 2004, she released her first album, Blondie, through Areal Records. Ada continued to release singles and EPs throughout the mid-2000s, including "Believer / Arriba Amoeba" and "Lovelace / ...And More". Her second studio album, Meine zarten Pfoten, was released in 2011 by Pampa Records. Ada's work often combines minimal electronic music with scattered female vocals. She won the title of "Best Female Artist" from De:Bug magazine.
