Roman Flügel, born May 5, 1970, in Darmstadt, Germany, is a German DJ and electronic music producer. After becoming interested in electronic music during the 1980s, he began producing in the early 1990s and collaborated with Jörn Elling Wuttke on projects, including Alter Ego and Holy Garage. Flügel made his solo debut with the EP Altes Testament (1995) under the alias Roman IV, followed by albums including Fatty Folders (2011), Happiness Is Happening (2014), All the Right Noises (2016), Eating Darkness (2021), and Balmy Evening (2022), under his own name. His 2004 single "Geht's Noch?" became a hit and has remained one of his best-known recordings. In addition to his solo work, Flügel has remixed artists including Pet Shop Boys and Kylie Minogue, and is a longtime resident DJ at the Robert Johnson house club.
