Eva Östlund, known professionally as Eva Eastwood, was born on September 25, 1967, in Örebro, Sweden. She is a singer-songwriter specializing in rockabilly and rock 'n' roll music. In the late 1990s, Eastwood formed the band The Major Keys and released albums under the name Eva Eastwood and the Major Keys through Tail Records. A significant breakthrough came in 2005 when she performed "Vårt liv i repris" from her album En ny stil i stan on the TV show Allsång på Skansen. In 2010, Eastwood won the Millencolin Music Prize, becoming the first woman to receive this honor. She has composed over 800 songs, collaborating with artists such as The Boppers and Linda Gail Lewis.
