Anna David, born on December 2, 1984, in Aarhus, Denmark, is a Danish singer known for her work in contemporary R&B and soul music. Her musical journey began at eight when she started playing the piano and singing in a choir, and by ten, she was composing songs with her older sister Inez Bjørg David. Anna David's debut single "P.Y.B. (Pretty Young Boy)" was released in 2000. In 2005, she collaborated with the producer duo nOOb, resulting in the breakthrough single "Fuck dig", which was later adapted for German audiences as "Fick Dich". Her debut album Anna David followed that same year and was certified Gold in Denmark. In 2007, Anna David released her second album 2, and in 2009, she launched her own label ADeluxe Music to release Tættere På. In 2010, she released her fourth studio album Music is Taking Over, marking her first English-language album. Throughout her career, Anna David has been nominated for numerous awards, including the Danish Music Awards and Zulu Awards. She won the Zulu Award for Best Singer in 2005 and received a Platinum certification for "Fuck dig" that same year. Her single "Fick Dich" reached Number One on the Danish charts and was also successful in Germany and Austria.
