Bijibal Maniyil, born on May 21, 1973, in India, is a music composer and playback singer known for his work predominantly in Malayalam cinema. He began composing during his college days at St. Albert's College, Ernakulam, and entered the film industry as a composer with the 2007 satirical drama Arabikatha, directed by Lal Jose. His breakthrough came in 2013, when he won both the National Film Award for Best Background Score and the Kerala State Film Award for his work on the film Kaliyachan. Over the course of his career, Bijibal has composed music for more than 150 feature films, including notable works such as Maheshinte Prathikaaram and Android Kunjappan Version 5.25.
