Sooraj Santhosh, born September 19, 1987, in Kollam, India, is a singer known for his work in playback music. He began his career as the lead vocalist of Masala Coffee, debuting on Kappa TV's Music Mojo and composing soundtracks for films like Uriyadi (2016) and Tubelight (2017). In 2016, Santhosh won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Playback Singer for "Thaniye" from the film Guppy. He also received two Mirchi Music Awards. His first international project was performing "Shanmukha Kavacham" in Germany with Ganesh B Kumar and the European Chamber Choir. In 2022, Santhosh released his solo EP, The Gypsy Sun, a multi-genre, multi-lingual album featuring collaborations with artists like Insanoid and Varkey. In 2025, he contributed to multiple film scores, including "Kaanalin Mele" for 3BHK and "Kokki" for Coolie.
