Haruko Momoi, born on December 14, 1977, in Tokyo, Japan, is a singer and voice actress known for her contributions to electronic and pop music. From a young age, Momoi was interested in personal computers and studied computer communications during high school. After graduating from Tokyo Metropolitan Yoyogi High School, she began writing articles that caught the attention of Weekly ASCII magazine, leading to a job as a writer. Momoi's musical career started with street performances in Harajuku and Akihabara. Her debut single "Mail Me" was released in 2000, marking her entry into the music industry. In 2001, she paired with Masaya Koike to form the duo UNDER17, performing songs for video games and anime. Their collaboration ended in 2004 due to creative differences. Momoi continued her solo career, signing with avex mode in 2006 as a music composer and singer. Notable releases include "Yume no Batton"(2006), momo-i quality 〜Best・of・Momooi〜 (2006), "Haruko☆UP DATE"SONGS BEST (2007), and STAY GOLD (2015). She also released several cover albums, such as Momoi Haruko COVER BEST Cover Densha (2007) and Pink Hippo Album 〜Self Cover・Best〜 (2016). Momoi's voice acting roles include Komugi Nakahara in Nurse Witch Komugi and various characters in anime series like Final Fantasy: Unlimited, Galaxy Angel A, and Steins;Gate. She also produced an all-female pop group called Afilia Saga.
