Rapper RIN's real name is Renato Simunovic and he was born on June 28, 1994 in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. He began making music in 2012 and released the song "Ljubav/Beichtstuhl" in 2015, which brought him his first attention in the hip-hop scene. A year later, he released his EP Genesis and featured on the Young Hurn song "Bianco", which was voted "Single of the Year" by the scene magazine Juice. His first studio album Eros (2017) included the hits "Bros" and "Monica Bellucci", both of which went platinum in Germany and gold in Austria and Switzerland. The mixtape Planet Megatron was released a year later, before the second longplayer Neverland was released in 2019. This reached number 3 in the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. "Dior 2001" is the album's most successful single and has been certified platinum twice. RIN is also a welcome feature guest, e.g. on Kynda Gray ("Ayo Technology", 2020) or KitschKrieg ("Oh Junge", 2020). With the two collaborations with Ufo361, "Next" (2019) and "Low Life" (2021), he achieved two more top 5 singles in the German charts. in 2021, he released his third album Kleinstadt, which catapulted him back into the top 5 in German-speaking countries. RIN even made it to number 1 in the German hip-hop charts for the first time with this album.
