Pink and Brown was a noise rock and punk rock band from San Francisco, California. Formed in 1997 by John Dwyer, known as Pink, on guitar and vocals, and Jeff Rosenberg, known as Brown, on drums, the duo moved from Providence, Rhode Island. Their first live show took place at O'Brien's in Allston, Massachusetts. The band released the debut album Final Foods (2001) through ToYo Records. In 2002, they released a split 12-inch single with Death Drug on Load Records. Their second studio album, Shame Fantasy II (2003), was released posthumously by Load Records. The band disbanded in 2003, announcing the breakup via a message board post. Following the dissolution of the band, Dwyer performed with Coachwhips, Yikes!, The Hospitals, and Osees. Rosenberg was a member of Young People, The Jews, and Lavender Diamond, and released ambient guitar music.
