Kenichi Maeyamada, known professionally as Hyadain, was born on July 4, 1980, in Japan. He is a Japanese musician and singer who began his musical journey at the age of four by playing the piano. During high school, he started composing music using a synthesizer. After graduating from Kyoto University, Maeyamada apprenticed under lyricist Gorō Matsui. His breakthrough came in 2007 when he wrote the lyrics for "Don't Go Baby", a song featured in Initial D Fourth Stage. In December of that year, Hyadain released his first work on Nico Nico Douga, a remix of "Crash Man's" from Mega Man 2 with added lyrics. Despite initial criticism, his videos gained popularity, notably "Four Fiends of the Elements" from Final Fantasy IV and "Western Show" from Super Mario World. In May 2010, Maeyamada publicly revealed himself as Hyadain. His work often incorporates elements of humor and nostalgia, and he is known for using digital voice modifiers to perform both male and female vocals.
