Barobax, an Iranian pop band formed in 2003 in Tehran, Iran, consists of Khashayar Haghgoo, Keivan Haghgoo, and Hamid Farouzmand. The group gained initial recognition with their debut album Wag, released in 2007. Their music faced domestic censorship but garnered an international following through the internet and Iranian satellite stations based outside Iran. In 2009, Barobax released the single "Baba To Ki Hasti". In 2010, they released "Soosan Khanoom", which was filmed on location in Paris Café featuring Gamno and inspired a track in the Bollywood movie Agent Vinod. They later released the singles "Oon Manam" in 2010 and "Bodo Dire" in 2011. Barobax's music has been distributed internationally by labels such as Avang Music and M4 Records.
