Jean-Baptiste Robin, born October 5, 1976 in Clamart, France, is a French composer and organist. He studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris, earning multiple first prizes, and furthered his education at King's College London with George Benjamin. He was appointed co-titular of the historic François-Henri Clicquot organ at Poitiers Cathedral in 2000 and later became an organist at Versailles' Chapelle royale. He taught at institutions including the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris. He performed solo recitals worldwide, in venues such as Walt Disney Hall and the Théâtre Mariinsky. His compositions, ranging from solo instruments to symphonic orchestras, were performed by ensembles like the Orchestre national de France and artists including Marin Alsop and Pierre Boulez. Notable works include "Zenith" (2020) for orchestra and "La destruction du temps" (2020) for organ.
