Jeffrey Khaner (born December 22, 1958 in Montreal, Canada) is a Canadian flutist who began his career after graduating from the Juilliard School, where he studied under Julius Baker. He became principal flutist of the Cleveland Orchestra in 1982, moving to the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1990, and also served as principal for the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Mostly Mozart Festival. Jeffrey Khaner taught at the Curtis Institute, Juilliard, and Lynn University, and launched an online flute school in 2012. He recorded seven solo CDs for Avie, including <em>American Flute Music</em>, <em>British Flute Music</em>, and <em>Musique Française Pour Flûte</em>, and performed concertos by Rorem, Chesky, and Ranjbaran. Jeffrey Khaner remained a founding member of the Syrinx Trio, which debuted at Carnegie Hall in 2001.
