Marisa Robles is a Spanish harpist. She studied at the Royal Higher Conservatory of Music of Madrid, graduating in 1953 with prizes in harp, writing, and composition, and began performing as a soloist with the Spanish National Orchestra in 1954. She became a harp professor at the Madrid Conservatory in 1958, moved to the United Kingdom the following year, obtained British citizenship in 1960, and made her London debut in 1963. From 1971 to 1993, she taught at the Royal College of Music in London while maintaining an active career as a chamber musician, frequently performing in duo with flautist Christopher Hyde-Smith as well as in the Robles Trio and the Robles-Delmé Ensemble. As a performer, Marisa Robles is the dedicatee of several works, notably by figures such as William Mathias and Stephen Dodgson. She toured internationally and performed with conductors including Zubin Mehta and Kurt Masur, among others.
