Vittorio Forte, born in 1977 in Rossano, Calabria, Italy, is an Italian pianist. He began his musical studies at the Conservatory of Cosenza and later dedicated himself entirely to piano under José Lepore. At age 17, he abandoned general studies to focus on music, winning several national and international competitions. Forte's breakthrough came in 2007 when he won the "Chopin" prize at the Concours Vlado Perlemuter. His debut album, dedicated to Muzio Clementi, was released in 2008 and received critical acclaim. Subsequent albums include Couperin–Chopin: affinités retrouvées (2013), which was nominated for an International Classical Music Award. Forte has performed extensively across Europe and the United States, including notable venues like Bargemusic in New York. He also founded the Centre musical IntermeZZo in 2003.
