The Original Alpenland Quintett was one of the first groups to blend traditional folk music with modern sounds and instruments, achieving significant success in Switzerland where they charted several times and earned multiple gold records. Notable albums include Alls oder nix (1987), Jägerball im Zillertal (1988), Wir feiern Jubiläum (1989), and Total verrückt (1994). Throughout their 25-year career, the Original Alpenland Quintett released 38 albums and performed extensively across Europe. They disbanded in 2000 with a double-CD release titled 40 Top Hits.
