Marco Rima

Marco Rima is a Swiss actor, comedian, and singer born on April 7, 1961, in Winterthur. He worked as a primary school teacher before co-founding the cabaret duo Marcocello in 1983. In 1992, the duo received a platinum certification for the recording Juhubilée. Rima produced and performed in the comedy musicals Keep Cool (1992) and Hank Hoover (1998). His film career included roles in Achtung, fertig, Charlie! (2003) and Handyman (2006). Rima released the studio albums Think Positiv (2002) and No Limits (2005), as well as the 2015 extended play Take It Easy. He received the Prix Walo five times between 1993 and 2005. In 2023, Rima campaigned as an independent candidate for the Council of States.
