Sonya Bach, born in 1981, is a South Korean classical pianist. She started playing the piano at age three and performed her first concert at five. In 1990, she played with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Sonya Bach received a scholarship to the Juilliard School and was the youngest student of Lazar Berman at the Incontri col Maestro academy. She earned her Master's degree in Spanish music under Alicia de Larrocha at Academia Marshall in Barcelona. Her discography includes Sonya Bach Plays J.S. Bach: Keyboard Concertos; Italian Concerto (2017) and Études (2020)
