The Mena Moeria Minstrels were a Netherlands-based Hawaiian music group, primarily consisting of Moluccans from the former Dutch East Indies colony. The group was originally led by steel guitarist Rudi Wairata and featured Joyce Aubrey and Ming Luhulima. In 1953, they secured a recording contract with Dureco, releasing at least 20 singles in the 1950s, including "Tomi Tomi" (1951) and "Ticklin' The Strings" (1953). Notable albums include Mahalo Nui Hawaii (1963) and Hawaiiana (1967). In 1958, Aubrey left the band to join her ex-husband's group, the Royal Hawaiian Minstrels. Founding member Rudi Wairata died in 1981. The following year, "Ola Bapa Dja" was re-released on Non records.
