Glenn Leonard, born June 11, 1947, in Washington, D.C., is an American singer who is best known as a former member of the vocal group The Temptations. Leonard, formerly of the Unifics, joined the group when he replaced Damon Harris in 1975. The group released four Billboard Hot 100 Number 1 singles and fourteen R&B Number 1 singles. They won four Grammy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. The Temptations were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. During Leonard's time with the group, The Temptations released albums like Wings of Love (1976), Hear to Tempt You (1997), and Power (1980). Leonard left the group before the album Surface Thrills was released in 1983.
