xLooking Forwardx, a hardcore punk band from Bel Air, Maryland, was formed in 1999. The group consisted of brothers Justin Chaillou on vocals and Josh Chaillou on guitar, their cousin Kevin Doherty on bass, and Kevin O'Brien on drums. Their musical journey began with the release of Ahoy Crew Members! in August 2002 via DFF Records. The band's subsequent album, What This Means to Me, was released by Blood and Ink Records in January 2004. In November 2005, they signed with Facedown Records and released The Path We Tread. Their next release, the extended play Down with the Ship, came out in June 2012. xLooking Forwardx was known for their involvement in the straight edge movement and their contributions to Christian hardcore music.
