Pieter Nooten

Pieter Nooten, born January 22, 1961, in Oss, Netherlands, is a Dutch musician and keyboard player. He started his career in the late 1970s as a drummer before transitioning to bass guitar and keyboards. In the mid-1980s, Nooten joined Clan of Xymox, playing on two albums on 4AD: Clan of Xymox (1985) and Medusa (1986). He collaborated with Michael Brook in 1987 for the album Sleeps With The Fishes. Nooten left Clan of Xymox in 1990 due to musical differences. In 2010, he released Here Is Why on Rocket Girl Records.
