Yarkon Bridge Trio, an Israeli vocal group, was formed in 1963 when Benny Amdursky recruited Arik Einstein and Yehoram Gaon to establish the trio. The group took its name from a bridge over the Yarkon River in Tel Aviv. In 1964, they released their debut album Ahava Rishona (First Love) and performed "Otach" ("You") at the Israel Song Festival. The group gained international recognition with appearances on BBC television and a performance at Paris Olympia in 1965. Their second album, HaTochnit HaChadasha (The New Program), was released that same year. In 1966, they won the Kinor David award for Best Entertainment Group and performed "Rei'ach Tapuach Odem Shani" ("Scent of Apple Redness of Crimson") at the Israel Song Festival before disbanding later that year.
